The Meaning Behind the Name

My 4 Seasons Counseling got its name from the owner’s four children, each of whom was born in a different season. She has three boys and one girl, and each child arrived during a distinct time of the year.

Her oldest son was born in May, a time when she discovered the healing power of love. Her second child, another boy, was born in the Fall. During this time, she experienced healing from a sense of lack, particularly as she was pursuing her college degree. The third son was born in the Summer, a season that taught her the importance of maturity. Finally, her Winter baby came like a storm, and during this time, she found happiness.

These personal experiences became the foundation for the mission and vision of My 4 Seasons Counseling: Where you can find healing in all four seasons.

Testimonials

Ms.Cochran is absolutely wonderful. Seeking and asking for help is easier said than done, but Ms. Fatima has made this entire process extremely smooth and comfortable. Dealing with childhood trauma as an adult has been hard, but there's no judgement with Ms. Fatima. She actually listens to my concerns and recommends helpful solutions. She provides extra resources when I'm in need of outside help and communicates any changes in a timely manner. Working with her these past two years has helped me mend strained relationships, ease my anxiety, and grow emotionally. I most certainly appreciate all that she does.

When I reached the age of 20 years old, I started to notice that a lot of work was needed for me to mentally grow from some things that I had been through. I needed to work on my childhood trauma and things that blocked me from becoming the person I wanted to be. I worked with 2 therapists and I realized they weren’t going to be a good fit for me. In 2018 I made an appointment to meet a new therapist and that therapist was Fatima Cochran. For the past five years I have worked with Fatima on becoming a person who understands her diagnosis as a bipolar patient with ADHD whom also has a lot of childhood trauma/relationship trauma and a former self harmer. When I was first diagnosed with bipolar disorder, I was scared that I would be labeled as “crazy”. Fatima helped me learn what bipolar disorder was and that I wasn’t “crazy”. She has helped me grow so much in the past 5 years of working with her. I’ve learned coping mechanisms that have helped me stop self harming and learning my triggers. She was there when I went through two traumatic breakups that I didn’t think I’d survive through but our work together only made me stronger and realize I’m a prize. The care I have been receiving is wonderful and I am so happy to have matched with my perfect therapist, Fatima Cochran. As I have told her plenty of times, there isn’t another therapist like her and she is my last! (:
