Fatima holds two Master’s degrees from Liberty University, Lynchburg, VA—in Human Services (2010) and Professional Counseling (2016). With over 14 years of experience in the mental and behavioral health field, her education laid the foundation for her expertise in working with diverse populations and addressing complex mental health challenges. Fatima’s commitment to lifelong learning continues to guide her approach to providing evidence-based care and sharing insights through her speaking engagements.

Her business extends beyond counseling, as she frequently speaks to corporate audiences about fostering mental wellness and reducing burnout, particularly in high-stress environments. She is writing a book/training manual for children of Non-Active Duty military soldiers i.e.*(Army Nat Guard, Airforce, Navy, reservists) on building resiliency.
Fatima is deeply passionate about breaking the stigma surrounding mental health, particularly for African American men in professional settings. She believes in the transformative power of open conversations and practical strategies for improving well-being. Beyond her work, Fatima enjoys traveling, immersing herself in new cultures, and spending time with her family. She is also an avid fan of football, choreographed dance, and soccer, finding joy in the excitement and community that sports bring. Music plays a significant role in her life, serving as both a source of relaxation and inspiration.

I’m Veronica Brothers, PMHNP-BC, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. With over 14 years of experience across a variety of healthcare settings. I specialize in creating individualized treatment plans for people with mental health diagnoses.
I’m Veronica Brothers, PMHNP-BC, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. With over 14 years of experience across a variety of healthcare settings—including acute and sub-acute psychiatric hospitals, urgent care, and rehabilitation centers—I specialize in creating individualized treatment plans for people with mental health diagnoses. I’m also a licensed Social Worker and an active member of several professional organizations, which reflects my commitment to advancing quality care and integrity in psychiatry.
As a first-generation Ghanaian-American, I’m fluent in Fanti and English, which allows me to provide culturally informed care. I have extensive experience conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, managing medications, and treating a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
I take a compassionate and multifaceted approach to treatment, combining evidence-based pharmacotherapy with transparent communication and a collaborative, judgment-free environment. My work spans crisis intervention, rehabilitation, and chronic illness management, always tailored to meet each individual where they are.

Michelle is a dedicated mental health counselor based in Maryland, committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward emotional well-being and personal growth. She creates a safe, affirming space where clients can explore challenges, build resilience, and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s complexities.

Michelle holds a master’s degree in Human Services and a second in Professional Counseling. She received full licensure accreditation in 2020 and has since provided compassionate, client-centered care to individuals navigating a range of mental health concerns.

Outside of her professional work, Michelle enjoys spending time with family, watching movies—especially musicals—and relaxing with instrumental music.

Charnita Jefferies is a seasoned healthcare administrator and emerging mental health professional, bringing a unique blend of clinical, operational, and financial expertise to her work. She holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland Global Campus and is completing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Bowie State University.
Charnita Jefferies is a seasoned healthcare administrator and emerging mental health professional, bringing a unique blend of clinical, operational, and financial expertise to her work. She holds a Master of Business Administration from University of Maryland Global Campus and is completing a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Bowie State University. She has completed her practicum and internships at My 4 Seasons Counseling in Fort Washington, Maryland, gaining hands-on clinical experience in community mental health.
She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Transcend Wellness, a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program, and Practice Administrator for Community Wellness Group in Largo, Maryland. Additionally, she brings 23 years of federal service with the National Institute of Mental Health, supporting the agency’s mission to advance the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through research, prevention, and recovery initiatives through administrative and acquisition support functions.
In her down time, she enjoys activities with family and friends such as cycling, bowling, golf, pickleball and gardening.

Earning a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University. She developed a passion for supporting individuals through life transitions and emotional challenges. Moriah works with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges.

A Prince George’s County Maryland native who loves family time, traveling and helping people to the best of her ability. Earning a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University, This winter. She developed a passion for supporting individuals through life transitions and emotional challenges. Moriah works with adolescents, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, and relationship challenges. She also has experience supporting clients navigating self-esteem, boundary-setting, and life adjustment concerns. Her therapeutic style is compassionate and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches to help clients gain clarity, healing, and self-awareness. She is dedicated to helping each client feel seen, understood, and empowered on their path toward growth and balance.
